Welcome to 3 Roses Farm located in the foothills of majestic Mount Rainer in Puyallup, Washington in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Puyallup is approximately 30 miles south of Seattle and 15 miles east of Tacoma, Washington in the Puget Sound area. My farm name is based on the three most important people in my life who all share the same middle name Rose. I have raised and exhibited caliber poultry at a local and national level for over 50 years. I think it would be fair to say I am a poultry nut and the love of breeding and exhibiting poultry has been a lifelong passion. I specialize in White Wyandotte bantams in which I am a A.P.A. Grand Master Breeder and Exhibitor. Most recently I have introduced show quality White Call ducks into my hobby farm in 2006. I am also in the process of developing an extremely rare line of Blue Laced Red wyandotte bantams. I have supplied numerous people locally and nationally with champion caliber White Wyandotte bantams demonstrated by their winning records including Show Champions at nationally sanctioned shows. In 2006 I had the privilege of traveling to the Cross Roads APA/ABA joint National show in Indianapolis, Indiana. There were over 11,700 birds shown and over 700 wyandotte bantams. I was excited to realize as I walked the aisle with Hall of Fame Master Breeder exhibitor Paul Ashbrook that my birds could compete and win nationally against some of the best breeders in the country who I consider legendary when it comes to breeding and exhibiting White Wyandottes. I typically show on the West Coast concentrating primarily in the Pacific Northwest. I am willing to share eggs, chicks, young and adult birds along with duck eggs, ducklings and mature White Calls depending on availability. Unlike many in the fancy what I share with you comes directly out of my show line breeding pens and should provide champion quality birds with proper raising and conditioning.
I dont think it would be exaggerating to say I know on a personal level or can identify most of the best breeders and judges of exhibition poutry in the country. Please feel free to use me as a resource in securing stock or as a mentor to beginners old or young in the Fancy. I also will work with youth and 4H groups.
